The Process
The process is simple. These are the basic steps:
- You choose a WordPress template from http://themeforest.net* (or I choose a template for you)
- You supply images, logo, site structure (pages), hosting details** etc
- I set up WordPress and install chosen template
- I configure template, create images, set up pages, add copy etc
- I add title and meta tags to each page (Search Engine Optimisation)
- I create screencasts showing you how to use your new website
* Themeforest is a marketplace for WordPress Themes. The majority of themes have a degree of customisability, for example, if you would rather have a text area than a Twitter feed or blog posts, this can be done.
** A Linux hosting package is required to set up WordPress. If you would rather I arranged hosting on your behalf, there is £75 set up fee.
The Cost
The cost of setting up a WordPress site, up to 15 pages is £500 (this includes cost of Themeforest template). For sites, with more than 15 pages, a quote is given.
